Interested in performing at this years Christmas on the Bay? Fill out some info and we will be in touch shortly! We can't wait to hear from you.
1. Audition Submissions
Auditions must be submitted via the official Christmas on the Bay website or emailed to the Event Manager at admin@christmasonthebay.co.nz by end of July 2025.
All applicants will be notified of the outcome—whether successful or not—by end of August 2025.
Video Auditions can be submitted via the above form or sent to admin@christmasonthebay.co.nz. Please ensure the video is clear and of high quality.
Auditions don’t necessarily have to be the song you will perform, but it needs to be a similar style / tempo. Christmas songs will be chosen on a first come basis, but may be changed by the production team.
2. Availability Requirements
All performers must be available for a sound check on the day of the event at the Caroline Bay Soundshell. Specific times will be confirmed closer to the event date.
3. Promotional Material
If selected to perform, you must submit a high-quality photo of your act and a brief promotional paragraph (approx. 100 words) by Friday, 3 October 2025. This content will be used across advertising and social media platforms.
4. Media Consent
By participating, you give permission for photos and video footage to be taken during sound check and the live performance.
These may be used by the event organisers for promotional purposes, including social media, website, and print advertising.
5. Performance Terms
Please note: This is a volunteer performance opportunity. No performance fees or reimbursements will be provided.
By applying, you agree that all performers in your act will be show-ready and prepared to perform in front of a large public audience on the day of the event.
The production team may ask you to change songs to ensure the show flows.
